Two decades inadvocacy, technology, and public policy
In my independent consulting practice, I've spent the last nine years working with advocacy organizations, nonprofits, and public-interest teams navigating complex change. I work across strategy and implementation, embedding with leadership to design – and build – the systems, platforms, and narratives that make an impact.
I'm proud to have, among other things, supported a national legal nonprofit from launch through rapid growth, led digital transformation for a cultural institution during the pandemic, and helped public-interest teams inside a major technology company align their policy and product decisions with social impact goals.
Before starting this practice, I spent six years at Blue State – a purpose-driven creative and technology agency (WPP Group) – where I completed service as Senior Vice President. I co-founded the San Francisco office, led the agency's largest client partnership and a global team of strategists and creatives, and designed award-winning digital advocacy campaigns for nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and progressive causes.
I began my career in Washington, D.C. leading the inaugural digital advocacy shop for a prominent government affairs firm, after spending time on campaigns, the U.S. Senate, and the Department of Justice.
I'm grateful to have a Masters from the London School of Economics & Political Science and an undergraduate degree from American University. Outside of work, I spend my time on various recreational pursuits and attempting to photograph it.
